Description

The Madonie Mountains are Sicily's answer to the Dolomites — jagged limestone peaks, high villages, and roads that twist through all of it.

This trip blends all three disciplines: road, gravel, and hiking. Smooth tarmac up the passes one hour; white limestone tracks through the olive groves the next. On foot, we hike ridgelines that feel like a miniature Dolomites — crossing 22 villages over the week.

Then we drop from the mountains to the sea — the medieval town of Cefalù, its Norman cathedral rising over the water — sail the Tyrrhenian coast, and roll into Palermo.

It's not a road trip. It's not a gravel trip. It's all of it — ride, hike, sail, eat, repeat.
