The Experience

What is the best way to get to the starting location?

Please see reference to the trip you booked. A group shuttle will be provided from the airport to our scheduled location.

What is the best way to fly out from?

What are the accommodations like?

Please plan to fly out from the Catania airport in Sicily. A group shuttle will be provided from the hotel in Taormina to the airport.

Can I get my own room?

We design the overall experience and try to include hotels to bring down the overall price for each individual. Each hotel room is based on double occupancy and helps build connection and conversation between group members. If you would like to pay additional money and make separate room accommodations, you are more than welcome to do so, depending on the room availability.

Do you require or recommend travel insurance? If so, who do you recommend to your clients?

Travel insurance is required for this adventure. It allows you to seek reimbursement if you are forced to cancel your trip for unforeseeable reasons, or if you need to cover medical help, emergency transport, and/or theft or accidental damage while traveling. For travel insurance, we recommend World Nomads.

What if the trip is canceled for inclement weather or any condition?

Unfortunately, we cannot control ANY conditions during your trip. The support team has full discretion to determine if any conditions warrant the cancellation of a trip. If the operator decides to cancel the trip due to bad conditions, you may choose to reschedule your trip for another date with the operator. If the trip cannot be rescheduled, please contact us so we may assist in finding a replacement trip. All cancellations for weather conditions will receive a credit toward a future trip. We do not refund trips that have been canceled due to weather. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

What if the equipment is damaged or lost?

Customer agrees he/she will return the equipment in the same good condition as when received, ordinary wear and tear accepted, and to repair and replace lost or stolen, damaged or broken bicycles or parts or to reimburse Qunafa for paid equipment. Therefore regardless of the party at fault, the customer understands and agrees to be responsible for the theft or damage to said equipment.

Can I cancel the trip? 

All trips canceled more than 35 days prior to the start travel date will be returned with a 90% refund of the total purchase price.  Cancellations less than 35 days prior to the start travel date will be refunded for 50% of the total purchase price. However, you may choose to reschedule your trip for another mutually agreeable date with the operator for up to one year. Your purchase price will apply 100% of your total purchase price towards the new booking date.
